The United States
Martial Artist Association
International Hall of Fame |
Special Note to All Who Attended the 12th
Annual USMAA Hall of Fame
The International Martial Artist Hall of Fame has been a blessing to
the association. Friends have been reunited from across the country.
New friends have been made. From time to time due to administrative
errors, individuals have been excluded. This year, 2010, there were
two individuals that were overlooked. Terry L. Pezzella of the Yin
Chuan System out of Baltimore, Maryland should have received her
honors as Woman of the Year. Terry is a very gracious person. I
called her and of course with her wonderful attitude and charm
forgave me. Jonathan Bishop of the Baraka Kempo System from Berkeley
Springs West Virginia should have received his induction as Special
Individual Achievement during the Hall of Fame event.
I extend my deepest apologies to all who attended the event which
was held in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. The friends, family and
fellow associates of Terry Pezzella and Jonathan Bishop. I apologize
to all of you.
********************************************************************************************
The United States Martial Artist Association was formed in 1977 in San Antonio Texas.
Over the past years we have grown to be one of the most prestigious associations in the
United States.
This organization recognizes individual accomplishments in and out of the studio.
The United States Martial Artist Association began hosting the Annual Hall of Fame Awards Banquet Ceremony
in 1999. The U.S.M.A.A. Hall of Fame Induction is the highest honor a martial artist can receive. We have restructured our organization to recognize U.S.M.A.A. members and non-members,
Black Belts and non-black Belts alike.
Studio operators and private instructors should feel welcome and participate in this international festivity. The ceremony
is held in the summer in Frederick, Maryland.
If you know of a martial artist that is deserving of this
prestigious award, we invite you to complete the
nomination ballot
as soon as possible. After completing the ballot, inform the individual of your choice that he/she will be receiving information about the Hall of Fame event.
The Hall of Fame has honored representatives from several countries
around the world. Some include South America,
Mexico, Canada, Japan, France, Germany, Ukraine, Russia, Italy,
Iran, India, Saudi Arabia and many others as well as all areas
of the United States.
Working seminars and clinics begin at 9:00 in the morning and go
through till 2:00 in the afternoon for your education and growth. In the evening, entertainment will accompany the ceremony.
This is a gala affair that you will be speaking about for years to come. For additional information, please contact
Grand Master Bill Rankin at the above address or call
